SAMULCO's Commitment to Education: A Flourishing Partnership with 53 Public Schools in Brigada Eskwela Program
In a remarkable display of community engagement and dedication to education, the Sta. Ana Multipurpose Cooperative (SAMULCO) has once again made a significant impact through its active participation in the Brigada Eskwela Program. This initiative, which spanned 53 public schools in the Davao Region and reached as far as Kidapawan, North Cotabato, underscores SAMULCO's unwavering commitment to uplifting local communities.
A Strong Start:
Brigada Eskwela is an annual program organized by the Department of Education, that aims to prepare public schools for the upcoming school year. This involves the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including parent associations, local businesses, and organizations. Empowering Education:
Samulco has heightened its support for the program by increasing its beneficiary schools from 41 schools in 2022 to 53 schools this year. The cooperative, known for its commitment to community development, focused on providing essential resources for school beautification and improvement by donating paints, paint brushes, and roller brushes. Samulco also donated a 200-meter water pipe for Buhangin Central Elementary School’s Oplan Repiping campaign.
