Samulco Holds The 2020 1st Virtual Ownership Meetings

The series of Ownership Meetings which are usually held face –to face to provide avenue for members  to be updated with the current  happenings with SAMULCO, were done virtually this year using the internet . The  movement restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic  paved the way  to adopt  virtual meetings from November 11 to 28.. Sans the personal exchange of pleasantries to the loyal members, the on-line meeting which is now the trend of “the new normal” nevertheless was commended by  the participants for  the new set-up provided them with the recent updates from our coop in the comfort of their homes or  without the hassles of  beating the traffic .

The participants received comprehensive and updated reports on COVID-19 highlighted by the report from the Chairperson himself  Dr. Victor Bonifacio Hofilena     who is also a practicing Thoracic Surgeon  . Financial reports from 2019 and 2020 and new products and services  were also presented . The series of meetings were participated by members from the different branches in Davao City and satellites from Calinan and Panabo.  Raffles of prizes and trivia contests were actively participated by the attendees bringing fun to the 2-hour meeting.
