SAMULCO donates 50 grocery packs and 1 brand-new bicycle to support campaign against child labor

In a concerted effort, Sta. Ana Multipurpose Cooperative (SAMULCO) has taken a proactive stance by participating in the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) campaign to fight child labor during the celebration of 125th Philippines Independence Day. The commemoration was participated by other private and government partners and celebrated the 2023 Araw ng Kalayaan Para sa #BatangMalaya at Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Davao City. By demonstrating strong commitment, SAMULCO recently made a generous donation of 50 grocery packs and one 1 brand-new bicycle to the identified 50 child laborers with their parents.

By aligning our resources and efforts, SAMULCO with other partners and DOLE are making a tangible impact on the combat against prevalent child labor. As part of the cooperative’s social development program, SAMULCO recognizes the importance of eradicating child labor and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children.
