𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐂𝐎 D𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝟓𝟎 𝐡𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 K𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 C𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧

The Department of Labor and Employment Region XI - Davao City Field Office (DOLE X1-DCFO) partnered Sta. Ana Multipurpose Cooperative (SAMULCO) together with other private institutions and government agencies during National Children’s Month Celebration on November 25, 2022. DOLE invited 50 child laborers with their parents in its effort to advocate the prevention and elimination of child labor. Part of the celebration was gift distribution, games, and a raffle draw. SAMULCO donated 50 hygienic kits to 50 child laborers for their basic hygiene needs considering their vulnerability to covid-19 infections and other illnesses. The annual celebration promotes the protection of children’s rights and welfare. SAMULCO’s participation demonstrates tireless commitment and social responsibility in building a better community.
